Matching Gifts
If your employer participates in a corporate matching gift program, the value of any gift you make to the annual fund of the Tisch School of the Arts (now part of The Fund for NYU) can be doubled. After making your gift, simply obtain a matching gift form from your company’s human resources office and follow the directions.
To see if your employer participates in a matching program, visit the NYU Corporate Matching page.
In-Kind Gifts
In-kind gifts are gifts of materials or services, rather than monies. Because the Tisch School of the Arts encompasses arts disciplines that require expensive physical resources, in-kind contributions can make a real difference in the quality of education provided to our students. Such gifts might include photography, filmmaking, or digital imaging equipment; film stock; lighting fixtures; computer hardware and software; pianos; furniture; or materials like lumber or fabric for theatrical costumes or scenic elements.
Planned Giving
Planned giving refers to means of making gifts which, while benefiting the School, also provide significant financial advantages to you and your family. Such options include gifts of appreciated assets (such as stocks and bonds), life insurance, or gifts made through a will or living trust. Depending on your circumstances and needs, options are available that can pay income to you during your lifetime, or pass assets to your heirs with little or no tax penalty. For more detailed information on planned giving, visit the NYU Planned Giving page.
